Can you retrospect your career in the last couple of years?

I had Pournami, Yogi and Munna in the past two years. You know the result as well.

There seem to be overdose of mother sentiment in your films?

It was unintentional. There is mother sentiment in my last four films.

Why are you sticking to action films?

I deviated from action films a couple of times. And the result is Chakram and Pournami. I realized that public want to see action films from me.

What do you look at while accepting stories?

I look for different points compared to my earlier films.

What kind of films you want to do in future?

I want to do only commercial film with lots of entertainment values.

What kind of films do you like personally?

I watch all kinds of films. But my favorite film is Geetanjali. I like sentiment films.

When are you going to act with Krishnam Raju?

Next year.

We heard that you are going to do the sequel of Bobbili Brahmanna with him?

Yes. We had it in our mind. But it is going to be very expensive. Hence we decided to postpone it.

Tell us about your next film Bujji Gadu Made In Chennai?

Shooting is not started yet. It is going to be a total entertainer.

What is the reason behind doing films only with established directors?

They approached me and I acted in their films. My last film Munna was directed a debutant.

But you must have given dates because Dil Raju produced it?

His films Badra and Bommarillu were not released when I accepted Dil Raju’s proposal.

You bought a new house. When are you going to get married?

There is still a lot of time for marriage. My elder brother is yet to get married.

Which is the favorite film among your favorite films?

Chatrapati. I also like Pournami film. I feel that Yogi is a good film. Though Varsham was a big hit, I feel that I could have performed better. Though there are some hiccups in Chatrapati, it got lot work satisfaction.

Do you want to do any folk or historical films?

I want to do Bhakta Kannappa. But it is going to be an expensive film.

Who is the most friendly heroine among the ones you worked with?

Shriya.

But you did three films with Trisha?

It is the choice of the director. I never involve myself when it come to selecting heroines.

Are you open for multistarrers?

Yes. If I get the right character.

Did you watch any films recently?

No. I want to watch Chandamama and Happy Days.
